Get to Know Elegant Expressions OK
“Junk mail and bills!” How many times have you opened your mailbox to find only junk mail and bills? When was the last time you received a personal note from a friend or family member? Not an email or text message, but a REAL note you can hold in your hand?
Much of society is disjointed these days, and countless people are left feeling alone and isolated. Many are aching to feel connected to someone, to feel valued and remembered.
Betty’s first creative endeavors were with needle works, especially sewing, embroidery and cross stitch. But a few years ago, she discovered a love of paper crafts, and card making in particular. Starting with just a few cards for family and friends, interest and enthusiasm grew until Elegant Expressions OK was officially launched in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. Now after creating over two hundred dozen cards, Elegant Expressions OK is connecting hearts and lives all across the country. Her daughter Karen has contributed her unique items as part of KP PaperKraft.
A new "design your own" feature has recently been added. We will show you papers from a collection (Sunflowers for example) along with a few cards previously made from those papers. These cards are sold by the dozen. We will personally create these cards along with any personalization (such as 21st birthday or gender of baby). As a reminder - the items pictured here are examples of cards/styles we have made in the past. We use limited-edition papers and embellishments, so what you see here may not be able to be replicated exactly. But don't let that stop you -- if you see something you like, let us know and we will work with you to create something similar. Each card is unique and one-of-a-kind ---- We don't mass produce any cards but instead strive to make something special for each customer.
Mission
Proverbs 13:18 states “She perceives that her merchandise is good: her candle does not go out by night.” As part of her desire to be a true Proverbs 31 woman full of grace and beauty, Betty has established this business to add comfort and connection between others during both the celebrations of life and its most difficult times.
